Manuscript Submission Guidelines
Scope and Focus
Manuscripts should offer original contributions to theoretical advancement, policy discourse, or practical applications in the field of education leadership and management, with relevance to both African and global contexts, and in alignment with the thematic priorities outlined in the call for papers.
General Formatting Guidelines
i) Manuscripts must be submitted in Microsoft Word (doc or .docx), in the prescribed structure
ii) Use APA 7th Edition referencing style.
iii) The font should be FootLight MT Light, size 13, 1.5-spaced.
iv) Margins should be 1 inch on all sides.
v) The pagination should be at the bottom center of each page.
vi) All pages should be numbered consecutively.
vii) The paper should not exceed 8000 words.
Structure of the Manuscript
Title page
The title page should include the manuscript title (not exceeding 15 words), the full names, email address, phone number, and institutional/organizational affiliations of all contributing authors.
Language and Style
i) Manuscripts must be in either UK or American English and professionally written, not a mixture of both.
ii) Proofreading and language editing before submission is highly encouraged.
5.3.5 Numbering Sub-Topics
The article numbering should not exceed level three. That is 1.0, 1.1, and 1.1.1

i) Submit manuscripts via the KJELM Online Submission Portal (journal.kemi.ac.ke) or email editorkjelm@kemi.ac.ke
ii) First-time users must register as authors before submission.
